Recently, I was contacted by one of my friends from High School. She found me online! I haven't seen or spoken to her in about 20 years. I really don't have an excuse for losing touch, I am just not really the 'keep in touch kind', I guess. Plus, I live so far away!
I went to High School in Wisconsin and I have lived in Washington for the past 17 years. That's pretty far away from everyone! And it really is harder to keep in touch from long distance. You would think with modern technology it would be easier, but life gets so busy and there is family, events, and personal responsibilities to consider. I guess it's my own fault for not making the time.
Anyway, we talk on the Yahoo IM once in a while now. It's great!
Do you have a High School pal you wish to reconnect with? Perhaps you can find them online. It's worth a shot!

I found one of my friends online through FaceBook last week. I had not heard from her since we were in the 8th grade. Believe me when I say that was a looonnggg time ago!
